St Tropez Spray Tanning

A spray tan is a safe way to get a gorgeous golden glow and we use only the very best tanning products from leading brand St Tropez.

St Tropez tan is a great all year round tan offering different shade’s depending on skin tone, giving a natural looking sunless tan with a weightless application leaving an even and perfect complexion. The instant colour dries in just 60 seconds after application, and the self-adjusting mist will develop and deepen over 4-8 hours.

To get a gorgeous professional tan there are a few things you can do to help your therapist achieve a beautiful even glow and keeping your colour for longer.

How to prepare for a spray tan?

Shave at least 24 hours before your treatment or 48 hours if waxing. This time allows pores to close properly and stop dotting that can appear after your tan application
Exfoliate with St Tropez Tan Enhancing Body Polish 24 hours before your treatment to gently buff away dry skin. Removing dead skin cells and revealing radiant new skin will make your tan last longer, exfoliating makes a big difference to both the results and the way it fades
Moisturise your skin with St Tropez Tan Enhancing Body Moisturiser the night before your tan. Remember to pay particular attention to stubborn dry areas such as hands, elbows, knees and ankles

On the Day of your Spray Tan

On the day of your tan application have a shower at least 30 minutes before your appointment.  Rinse off any products, oils, moisturisers and make-up, deodorant or perfume. If they are not removed thoroughly the spray tan can look streaky, blotchy unnatural or unevenly coloured
Wear loose, dark clothing and flip-flops or loose fitting shoes, remove jewellery, pull hair up (away from face and neck. Tight clothes and underwear can leave marks whilst reducing the quality of your tan
Contact Lenses should not be worn.

What to do after your spray tan?

• Leave your tan on for a minimum of 8 hours.
• You will feel sticky and tacky whilst your tan is developing.
• Allow the shower to run clear before using any shower gel.
• Gently foam skin with a shower gel.
• Pat dry, do not friction dry.
• Moisturise every day to pro long your tan.
• Exfoliate after day 5 of your spray tan.
• To prolong your natural or St Tropez Spray Tan and extend your tan for up to 3 days longer use St Tropez Self Tan Classic Booster.
